Practicing medicine in Canada places a greater emphasis upon patient needs rather than the commercial/private aspects of the profession that exists in the USA. 
   

• The free health care services offered in Canada removes much of the anxiety associated with the ever-present possibility of a family member becoming ill with a disease capable of devastating a family’s finances, as is presently the case in the United States of America.
   

• The Government of Canada places a very high priority upon the individual rights of its citizens, including abortion rights, LBGTQ rights and the right of each person to marry the person they love.
   

The superior quality of life enjoyed by Canadians includes an absence of all forms of fear while living and travelling nationwide. It is worth noting the experience of one American doctor who moved her family to Canada. The doctor’s little girl expressed concern because there was no camera on the school bus. The little girl said “If somebody comes to kill us they’re not going to know who did it.” The doctor told her daughter school shootings are rare to non-existent in Canada.
